NPO Musketeers has created programs that provide marketing services for other nonprofits and startups. One of the ways we are able to reduce the costs of these services is by allowing supervised students to provide them. This provides a win-win situation for the students because at the same time they can gain marketing skills training which will help them improve their employment status.
Google Ad Management Experience
Our flagship program for students is Google Ad Management training. This involves learning how to create and manage ad campaigns on the Google Adwords platform so that the service can be provided to nonprofits who are eligible for the Google Ad Grant. This is an amazing opportunity because the Google Ad Grant extends a $10,000 monthly ad credit to qualifying nonprofit organizations, and few if any other training programs will provide the hands-on experience of managing a $10,000 monthly budget. That is simply something that most students and new trainees don’t have access to.
As the pool of our beneficiaries grows (nonprofit organizations and startups), the more training opportunities we can extend to our students. They could potentially also get training in graphic design, search engine optimization, social media management, website design and development, and general marketing principles. These will all be taught through live training sessions, either in person or via zoom. They will also be available online. The Musketeer Marketing Academy is currently in development.
Who Is Eligible For The Training Programs?
The training programs are intended for anyone who feels they can use the training to improve their employment status. We call this under-employed because it can mean more than just those who are unemployed. Part of the mission of NPO Musketeers is to help individuals become self-sufficient.
The under-employed can be the unemployed or anyone who is not employed at a level so that they can pay for their basic needs and support their family. This could include any low-income individual, veterans, disabled persons capable of using a computer, and many others. Those who apply should be somewhat technologically savvy and can use a computer.
